Steel Sculpture

The picture above is a fire sculpture named “The Toaster.” It has been to many events and is now permanently installed at Gateway Ranch near Flagstaff, AZ

I’ve been making art out of steel for over 20 years. Everything shown has either been sold or is already at its permanent new home.  The sculptures I make these days are mostly for myself or friends. I am also represented by Van Gogh’s Ear Gallery in Prescott, Arizona so some of my sculptures are on display there.

Here is a photo of “Denizen of the Deep” at the Grand Avenue Festival in Phoenix, AZ on November 9, 2019. It’s about 20 feet long and 12 feet high.

Below are pics of Amphibia, a 60-foot diameter dome that served as headquarters for our theme camp at Burning Man in 2007 and 2009. The structure is now set up at East Jesus.

And then there’s this, the Seussian Pedal Tractor. Fun!

And the CadWac, a heavily modified 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. After much fun driving it to events it is now a permanent addition to the East Jesus sculpture garden.

Here’s the entry arch to the sculpture garden at East Jesus. I did most of what shows in the photos here. The walls on either side of the arch have taken on their own lives and other artists have begun to add to it.
